PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT NIGHTINGALE AVENUE, REYDON
Welcome
Welcome to the dedicated website for Hopkins Homes' proposals at Nightingale Avenue in Reydon. As you may recall from the public consultation held back in 2001, Hopkins Homes has an interest in land at the above site.
Hopkins Homes is committed to the successful redevelopment of this site and has spent the last few years in discussions with the local authority. Recently, Waveney District Council has identified the land as suitable for a mixed development so Hopkins Homes is currently working on proposals for the site.
The plans propose a high quality mixed development featuring housing, a Healthy Living Centre and a care home, together with a large area of open space.
Importantly, as part of the application it is proposed that Hopkins Homes would make sizeable contribution towards the Southwold and Reydon Recreational Development Council to provide additional and improved playing facilities together with a new sports pavilion at the northern end of the village at the former Reydon High School.
Hopkins Homes prides itself on developing schemes that respect the existing area and will take care to ensure that the new development would feature its renowned high quality design.
This website provides information and details on the plans proposed for the site and allows you to provide your comments to the project team. We welcome your feedback on the proposals, so please feel free to complete the online comment form to provide us with your thoughts.
Hopkins Homes will continue to keep you updated as the plans progress.
